Ina Yolande Stoner's Obituary
Yolande was preceded in death by her mother, Ina F., nee Tapp, Becherer, her paternal grandparents, Fred and Pearl, nee Graham, Eads and her maternal grandparents, William Gordon and Iva Estella, nee Jones, Tap, son-in-law Jeff Dixon, and three nephews, Lewis Wayne, James Aaron and Howard Christopher Nelson. Yolande is survived by her husband, Stanley of Dupo, daughters Vanessa (Brad) Nolte of Belleville, Stacey (Lance) Dixon-Prange of Dupo and son Eric (Sara) Stoner of Dupo, her grandchildren, Brandi and Brandon (fiancΘe Lauren Kennedy) Nolte of Belleville and Jessica, Jeffrey and Jarrett Dixon of Dupo and sisters Una (Lewis) Nelson of Mulberry Grove and Regina (Richard) Brown of Vandalia, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She is also surviveby a very special family friend, Julie Simmons. Yolande was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 21, 1945 to John and Ina F., nee Tapp, Eads. After spending her early childhood in Fornfelt, Missouri she came to Dupo with her family in 1954, attending Hough School and graduating from Dupo High School in 1963. After her graduation from high school she was employed by Selmer Manufacturing in St. Louis for many years before attending Patricia Stevens Business School in St. Louis. After graduating from Patricia Stevens she was employed as secretary to the building manager of Pierce Building in St. Louis. In 1978 she started employment with Dupo School District 196 as a truant officer and retired in 2007 as a custodian at Bluffview Elementary School.
