Hugo C. Haertling's Obituary
Hugo was preceded in death by his wife: Elsie Haertling, nee Fiedler, his grade school sweetheart whom he married on July 31, 1932 in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbia, IL., and who died on Mother's Day in 1973 after a lingering illness, his parents: Amo & Ida, nee Gerharter, Haertling, his brothers: Albert Haertling & Melvin Haertling, and his son-in-law: Lee Nolte. Hugo is survived by his daughter: Arleen Nolte, his two grandchildren: Steve (Catherine) Nolte & Lori (Kenneth) Schwahn, his four great grandchildren: Nicholas & Hanna Nolte and Sydney & Tyler Schwahn, his sister-in-law: Mary Fiedler of Collinsville, IL., and his nieces: Ruth Fiedler, Lavanda (Harlan) Perr, & Ethel (Butch) Priest, he is also survived by other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL. or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
