Howard F. Cafferata's Obituary
Howard was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Julia Cafferata. An only child, Howard is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Shirley, nee Fuhrmann, two children, Michael (Kathleen) Cafferata & Mary J. Cafferata, two grandchildren, Katherine J. (fiancΘ Steve Sebena) Cafferata & Matthew J. Cafferata, he is also survived by other relatives & friends. He was a graduate of Our Lady of the Sorrows Catholic Grade School and Southside Catholic (St. MaryÆs) High School in St. Louis, MO. Howard was a veteran of WWII serving with the 9th Air Force division and later recalled to serve during the Korean Conflict in the 10th Air Force division. After the war he worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone and Ameritech. Howard is known for his generous spirit, helping anyone who asked or needed help. Memorials may be made to Fischer House at Jefferson Barracks.
