Holly J. Wood's Obituary
On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Holly June Wood passed away in her home in Columbia, IL.
Holly was born in East St. Louis on July 12, 1954 to Hollis Wood and Vivian Ruth Jones. She served in the US Navy until 1977, and in 1983 she received her Associate degree in Aviation Electronics from Belleville Area College. Holly was a dedicated employee of Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) for 30 years.
Holly is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son Josh (Emma), daughter Rachael (Jason), brother John (Arlene), sister Polly (Larry), grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021, 10:30 am - 12:00 noon at Leesman Funeral Home, Columbia, IL. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Belleville, IL.
