Hetty Grant, nee Wolda, 55, of Columbia, Illinois. Born, January 10, 1959 in Zuidlaren, Holland passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Hetty was a paralegal for Sandberg, Phoenix & Von Gontard P.C. in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of the St. Louis Legal Association, Bar Association of St. Louis, MO., and she was an avid scrapbooker.
Hetty was preceded in death by her mother, Trientje Wolda, nee Smit.
Hetty is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Grant, her daughter, Angela (Scott) Davis of Waterloo, IL., her grandchildren, Seth, Lilleigh & Parker Davis, her father, Hindrik Wolda, her brothers, William “Wim” (Sharon) Wolda & Jacob “Jaap” (Mary Ann) Wolda, her sister, Marianne (Scott) Snyder, her niece, Javelyn Dempsey, her nephew, Henk Wolda. She is also survived by other relatives & friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Funeral will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Steve Neill, officiating.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
