Herbert Marion Bennett's Obituary
Herbert Marion Bennett, 86 years, formerly of Baldwin, IL., passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Fountainview Manor in Granite City, IL. He was born in a small coal mining community in Southern Illinois, on September 26, 1932.
Herbert was a member of First Baptist Church in Red Bud, IL.
Surviving are Two Sons, Brian Herbert (Rhonda) Bennett & Marion Wendell Bennett, Seven Grandchildren, Chris Hudak, Timothy Bennett, Billy Bennett, James Bennett, Rebecca Bennett, Alyssa Bennett, Drake Bennett; Great-Grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia, Malachi, Jordan, Joseph & Elizabeth; along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Coalier Alaska Bennett and Theresa nee Aldridge Bennett; his wife, Darlene Bennett; his son, Billy Gene Bennett; his three brothers one sister.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL., with Pastor Doug Stewart, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Red Bud City Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
