Henry J Schaefer, 90, of Red Bud, IL., born August 16, 1926 in Foster Pond, IL., passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL.
Surviving are Two Sisters, Regina (Robert) Scherle & Marie Hess; Three Brothers, Albert (Joyce) Schaefer, Robert (Martha) Schaefer & Martin (Jeanette) Schaefer; Henry was also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jacob and Frances, nee Eschmann, Schaefer; Four Sisters, Gertrude Pautler, Frances Rahn, Josephine Smith & Teresa Schaefer; Two Brothers, Clarence Schaefer & William Schaefer.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL., and Monday, July 10, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, IL., with Msgr. Dennis Schaefer, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
