Sharon and Karen and Kathy and Kenny: Please accept my deepest condolences on your mother’s passing. No matter how prepared one may feel about it, the loss of a parent is always deeply heartfelt and so very sad.
Your mother was a really special person. She seemed to me unflappable, even with 4 kids and their assorted friends (like me) running around and creating chaos, and was always ready to find something that could make her laugh about any situation. She even had that rare quality of laughing about her own foils....something most parents could not or would not do around kids. She had a joy about her....
I am certain that the wonderful family memories you share will provide you much comfort in grieving for the loss of your beloved mother.
