Helen B. Shoffner's Obituary
Helen Bernice Shoffner, 81 years of Waterloo, IL, and formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away on December 6, 2017. She was born July 14, 1936, in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late Cecil and Gladys, nee Davis, Lay. She was married to the late Curtis E. Shoffner, Sr. They were married September 27, 1952, in Olivette, MO. He had passed away August 12, 2012.
Helen had previously worked at Magna Bank, Columbia, IL.
Surviving are her two sons, Curtis E. (Lin) Shoffner, Jr. of Whitehead, Northern Ireland, and Steve (Tammy) Shoffner of Willow Springs, NC; daughter, Janis (David) Cates of Waterloo, IL; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Helen was cremated according to her wishes. There will be no public services.
