Helen Ruth Hofstetter's Obituary
Helen Ruth Hofstetter, nee Wasem, 72, of Dupo, Ill., born August 3, 1942 in Belleville, Ill., passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Hofstetter was a retired bookkeeper for Tire Mart in St. Louis, MO. She had spent many years at the Dupo Quarterback Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Margie, nee Shannon, Wasem Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Erwin Hofstetter, her sons, Eric (Shari) Hofstetter of East Carondelet, Ill. & Mike (Kelli) Hofstetter of Columbia, Ill., her grandchildren, Kelci & Kylie Hofstetter, Sean, Ryan & Brooke Hofstetter, her brother, Carl Wasem Jr., her cousin, Judy (Ivan) Kohlmeier, her nephew, Carl (Teresa) Wasem. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Femorial Service will be on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., with Rev. Matt Friz, officiating.
Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
