Helen was preceded in death by her husband Les Plant, her parents: William Conrad Scharf and Ida Louise Scharf, nee schuff, her brothers: Melvin Scharf and William E. Scharf, her sisters: Myrtle Wirth, Marion Pfeffer and Mildred Wells. She is survived by her sisters and brother: Lillian (Alvin) Otten of Smithton, IL., Grover (Marion) Scharf of Belleville, IL., and Virginia Scharf of Millstadt, IL., and her schnauzer: Schatzie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives and freinds. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, Florissant Police Auxiliary or to Backstoppers.
