OBITUARY
Helen L Besher
Helen L. Besher, 82, of Red Bud, IL., born December 6, 1942, to the late William E. & Ruby H. Sutton, passed away on April 10, 2025.
Helen was a loving wife, mother and "granny" who was a dedicated homemaker cherished spending time with her family. She and Henry met while in high school and were married April 2, 1961 in Red Bud. Helen will be fondly remembered for her shopping and her extensive collection of owls.
Surviving are her dear husband of 64 years, Henry E Besher of Red Bud, IL.; son, Jay M. Besher of Red Bud, II. sister, Elaine Thurman of Lake of the Ozarks, MO.; grandchildren, Nathan Besher and Brittany (Michael Allday) Besher-Allday; great-grandchildren, Sandra Allday and Sutton Allday, along with other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mark H. Besher and Michael L. Besher; brother, Wayne Sutton.
Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Leesman Funeral Home, Red Bud, IL., with services at 11:00 am at Leesman Funeral Home with Pastor Cory Hartz officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Bud City Cemetery, Red Bud, IL.
