Hazel Emma Rose Miller's Obituary
Hazel was born in Columbia, IL, daughter of the late Dan and Pauline (Frierdich) Daab. She was a member of: St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, where she had served as a past President of the Women's Guild; Order of the Eastern Star - Rob Morris Chapter; Order of The White Shrine; and Columbia Senior Citizens. She had been the owner/operator of Miller's Gift Shop in Columbia, IL, and had worked at her sister Jeannine's Tavern in Dupo, IL. Many will remember her love of the piano as she had played for many church services and local groups.She was the widow of the late James Y. Miller, who had passed away March 22, 1973. They were married January 23, 1934, in Columbia, IL.
