Harvey L. Stumpf was born in Valmeyer, Illinois, son of the late Emil F. and Lenora (Hartmann) Stumpf. He was a WW II Army veteran, member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, American Legion Post #581, past president of the Monroe County Farm Bureau and the Columbia Rotary, past member of the Monroe County Planning Commission, Illinois Realtors Association, and Toastmasters International. He was the husband of Dixie L. (Hamilton) Stumpf, who survives him. They were married in Freeburg, IL, on December 17, 1983.
