Some of my fondest childhood memories are of my family spending Sunday evenings at Grandma Wetzel’s house with my Uncle Harry, Aunt Eileen and my cousins from Baldwin. Eating Grandma’s incredible spaghetti served with fried potatoes covered in smooth Sealtest cottage cheese. (OMG…what I wouldn’t do to enjoy that again!) Waiting for the Lawrence Welk show to end so we could watch the Wonderful World of Disney. Or, just setting on the back steps with my cousins, stargazing, trying to figure out the “man in the moon”. So many great times and so many great memories.
Rest in peace Uncle Harry…I’m comforted by God’s gift that has now placed my father with all of his siblings back together with their parents in his kingdom!
To my cousins Vikki, Cheryl and Darla; may God fill your hearts with comfort and know you are in our prayers.
