Harold A. Klotz, 96 yrs., of East Carondelet, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born in East Carondelet, IL, the son of the late Charles H. and Christine, nee Hoffman, Klotz. He was married to the late Ann M., nee Sander, Klotz for over 48 years. They were married on August 21, 1955, in Alton, IL. She had passed away February 28, 2004. Harold lived within 50 feet of the place of his birth. He was a farmer growing both grain and produce and a carpenter constructing buildings and cabinets for Triple Lakes Golf Course, Sterling Steel Casting Company, and many friends and neighbors. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, and the St. Clair County Farm Bureau.
