Mr. Scharf was preceded in death by his parents: William Conrad & Ida Louise, nee Schuff, Scharf, his brothers: Melvin Scharf & William E. Scharf and his sisters: Myrtle Wirth, Marion Pfeffer, Mildred Wells, Lillian Otten & Helen Plant. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Marion, nee Wehmeier, his daughter: Cheryl (Charlie) Mueth of Millstadt, IL. & their children: Tim (Christi) Mueth and their children: Colin & Cailynn, Craig (Melissa) Mueth and their children: Hannah & Zander, his daughter: Mari (Bill) Fritz of Millstadt, IL., & their children: Rebecca (Jeff) Boerio and their son: Adam, Sandra (Chris) Vos and their children: Roman, Samantha, Amy & Ivan, Emily (Matt) Sallee and their daughter Willa, his sister: Virginia Scharf. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Scharf was the owner/operator of Westview Auto Body for 25 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Concordia United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL., Ainad Shrine, Columbia Blue Lodge Masonic Lodge 474 A.F. & A.M. in Columbia, IL., Charter Member of Millstadt Lions Club, Bluff Grange, and LePere School Board. Memorials may be made to Concordia United Church of Christ or Donor's Choice.
