Gregory Aloysius Harbaugh's Obituary
Gregory A. Harbaugh, 92, of Prairie du Rocher, Ill, born July 23, 1924 in Waterloo, Ill., passed away Thursday February 23, 2017 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, Ill.
Gregory worked for Trost Feed & Supply and Countryside Convenience Store. He also farmed for a while. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Ill.
Gregory was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Harbaugh, nee Krebel, his parents, David J. & Alice, nee Woodcock, Harbaugh, his daughter, Nancy Sauer, his great grandchild, his brothers, Robert, Jim & Jerry Harbaugh and his sisters, Alice & Dorothy.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley (John) Mathews of Prairie du Rocher, Ill., son-in-law, Stanley Sauer of Red Bud, Ill. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many other family & friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill., and on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill.
Funeral mass will be on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Ill, with Reverend Monsignor Daniel J. Jurek & Reverend Monsignor Dennis Schaefer, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prairie du Rocher, Ill.
