Glenn Laws' Obituary
Glenn Laws, 90 of Wildwood, MO., formerly of Dupo, Ill., born February 24, 1926 in Wichita, KS., passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Laws served four years in the United States Navy, and retired as a Master Sargent in the United States Air Force. He later worked for Larson Industries and then Purex. He was a member of the VFW in Wildwood, MO. He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan, & played minor league baseball in Japan.
Mr. Laws was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Harvell-Laws, his parents, Arvan & Elva, nee Gaulding, Laws, his son-in-law, Michael McNair, his grandson, Michael Leiby, his brother, Merle Laws, his sister, Velma (Amos Hann) Ott and his grandparents, Bill & Mamie Gaulding.
Mr. Laws is survived by his son, Dale (Linda) Harvell, his daughter, Cathy McNair, his son, Dennis (Terri) Harvell, his daughters, Alice (Jerry) Devany, Karen (Joe Larson) Gower, & Gail (Jay) Harvell, his brother, Weldon Laws, his sister-in-law, Charlcie Laws. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Veterans Association.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral will be on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. David Krueger, officiating.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
