Glenda Ann Herbert's Obituary
Glenda Ann Herbert, nee Young, 53 years of Marthasville, MO, born June 25, 1965, in Decatur, IL., passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at her residence.
Glenda worked as an assembler for True Manufacturing in Pacific, MO. Glenda was a kind and good friend to everyone she met and worked with. She enjoyed everyday working with them and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Young; brother, Allen Young; two sisters-in-law, Donna Young and Nancy Young.
Surviving are her husband, James Joseph Herbert of 30 years, she was a wonderful and loving wife, one that will remain in her husband Jim's heart forever., her two Sons, Keith Herbert and Kyle Herbert, her mother, Bettie Young, nee Ball, her brothers and sisters, Michael (Debbie) Young, Linda Ford, Daniel Young, Timothy Young and Brenda (Sidney) Skorcz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
Glenda was a wonderful mother to her two sons, and she loved them dearly. It was Glenda's nature to love and forgive, and to bring peace to where it was needed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL., with Monsignor Dennis Schaefer, officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Bud City Cemetery, Red Bud, IL.
