Gladys Marie Riebeling, 89 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, the daughter of the late DeWitt and Rachel, nee McManus, Thompson. Gladys was a past member of Zoar United Church of Christ, New Hanover, IL, and the Monroe County Farm Bureau. Many will remember her taking care of Shaw's Lake near Columbia, for many years. Her family will never forget her heart filled generosity. She was married to the late Ervin C. Riebeling, Sr. He had passed away September 13, 1990. They were married on February 21, 1948 in Waterloo, IL.
