Gladys Louise Gummersheimer, 82 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Columbia Rehab. and Nursing Center, Columbia, IL. She was born in Renault, IL, the daughter of the late Otto and Elsie (Hagemeier) Schultheis.Gladys was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, had been a 4-H Leader, and member of the Monroe County Pork Producers, Monroe County Farm Bureau, and the Monroe County Genealogical Society. Many will remember the special wedding cakes that she used to bake.She was married to Wilbur E. Gummersheimer, who survives her. They were married on January 13, 1951, at Waterloo, IL.
