Gertrude A., nee Kasmarzik, Becherer, 88 yrs., of Columbia, IL., passed away at her home, with her family at her side. She was born in Fairview Heights, IL, the daughter of the late John and Anna, nee Blanke, Kasmarzik. She was married to Melvin Becherer Sr., who survives her. They were married on November 26, 1947, in O'Fallon, IL.
Gertrude was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, and taking care of her home and family, and treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
