Geraldine "Geri" Marie Keim's Obituary
Geraldine "Geri" Marie Keim, 80 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL. She was born September 1, 1941, in East St. Louis, IL.
Geri began her career working for the Southern Rail Road. She worked as an LPN at Scott Air Force Base and later worked for St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She finished her career working as a chaplain at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Geri was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Ronald Keim, her children, Allan (Janice) Keim, Jennifer (Kevin) Stumpf, David (Danielle) Keim and Theresa (Bruce) Pickert, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Ray) Frame, Matthew (Jennifer) Stumpf, Derrick (Katelyn) Stumpf, Lanette Stumpf, Samantha Keim, Kelsey Reynolds and Drew Reynolds, her great grandchildren, Blake & Haley Frame, Elliott Stumpf, Paityn & Jaxson Stumpf and Caiden Clark, her sister, Mary Loretta Nottmeier, and sister-in-law, Mary Fredrick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Irene, nee Strauss, Fredrick, her mother-in-law, Esther Keim-Vogel, her brother, Robert Fredrick, her sister-in-law, Bernice (Richard) Fichter and her brother-in-law, Walter (Dorothy) Keim.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL, and on Friday, July 1, 2022, 9:00 am - 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL., with Fr. Marvin C. Volk officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Waterloo, Illinois.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Poor Clare's Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, 300 N. 6th Street, Belleville, IL. 62223.
