Geraldine "Gerry" E. Weber, nee Tayon 94 years of Waterloo, IL, formerly of Dupo, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1925, in St. Louis, MO.
Gerry was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL, Sacred Heart Women's Club, Sacred Heart Quilting Club, lifetime member of the VFW Post 6368 Ladies Auxiliary in Dupo, IL, and she was an avid bingo player.
Surviving are her children, Joseph A. (Johnnie Baxter) Weber, Jr., Daniel T. (Sally) Weber, Paul R. (Catherine) Weber, Karen A. (David) LaCroix, Sharon M. (Jim) Godfrey & Timothy J. Weber; her grandchildren, Rachell Weber, Andrea Baxter, Lea (Mark) Smith, Christi (Craig) Purcell, Matthew Weber, Brittany Weber, Adam Weber, Luke (Michelle) Weber, Frank (Jamie) Weber, Kimberly (Nathan) Theurer, Bryant (Lisa) LaCroix, Ashleigh (Blake Johnson) LaCroix, Shane Godfrey, Jay Godfrey & Zack Weber, her great grandchildren, Kayla (Andrew) Boone, Kanon Weber, Brianna Weber, Jack Case, Dylan Purcell, Chandler Purcell, Braden Purcell, Maggie Weber, William Weber, Samuel Weber, Analiese Reidelberger, Lauren Reidelberger, Noah Theurer, Isaiah Theurer, Piper Theurer, Cody Stiebel, Kelsey LaCroix, Katie LaCroix, Everleigh Johnson, Mya Godfrey & Savannah Godfrey, her great great granddaughter, Eslee Boone; special lifetime friend, Katherine Bauer; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Weber, Sr.; her parents, Emil & Eva Tayon; her brother, James Tayon and her grandson, Vincent Weber.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL and on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL, with Fr. Carl Scherrer, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
