Gerald F. Gomric's Obituary
Gerald F. Gomric, 69 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on October 1, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. He was born August 6, 1948, in East St. Louis, IL.
Gerald was a St. Clair County Sheriff's Deputy, Police Chief of Millstadt, IL, and retired as a Security Officer at Cerro Flow Products in Sauget, IL. Gerald was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Millstadt Quail Club, the Jaycees, and the Millstadt Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife Carol, nee Rineck, Gomric, sons Michael (Rachel) Gomric and Anthony (Christina) Gomric, grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Toby and Jordan Gomric, great-grandchild, Lorelei Gomric, brother, James (Rose) Gomric, sister, Joann Schilling, he is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends..
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Antoinette, nee Uga, Gomric.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9 - 11 a.m., at Concordia United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Concordia United Church of Christ with Pastor Douglas Anders, officiating.
Per Gerald's wishes, he will be cremated with a private inurnment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
