Georgianne J. Bruehl's Obituary
Georgianne J. Bruehl, nee Meyer, 85 years of Millstadt, Ill., passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her daughter's house in O'Fallon, MO. She was born February 6, 1932, in Belleville, Ill.
Georgianne married young in 1950 to Armin A. Bruehl and she lived in Millstadt for over 60 years. She loved all flowers, birds, butterflies and cats. She loved her home and friends at the Millstadt Senior Center were she volunteered for years helping in the kitchen and she was P.S.O.P accredited. She was loved by all she met, and she was cared for by many. Special love to Mercy Hospice in St. Louis for the special care the past two years, Dee Dee Gordon, Erica Smith, Janet Dobson, Susan Drake and Cary Rose. She wants to be remembered with a smile one her face and a song in her heart. She only saw the good in everyone she knew.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara (Larry) O'Donnell of O'Fallon, MO, her son, Robert Bruehl of Dix, Ill., her brother, Trevor (Shirley) Meyer of Belleville, Ill., her sisters-in-law, Marilee Tedrick, Marlene Bruehl and Evelyn Lucy all of Millstadt, Ill., her granddaughters, Shelly (Lorne) Jackson of Highland, Ill., Alesia (Derek) Parmley of Sandoval, Ill., Janice (Jay) O'Donnel of St. Louis, MO., and Michele (Hugh) Pringle of Centerville, OH., her great-grandchildren, Olivia Jackson, Gavin Pringle, Sierra Schaedler, Kole Schaedler, Dasani Schaedler, Kadence Parmley and Ashley Kracth, her great great granddaughters, Khloey and Kallie Schaedler. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and too many friends to list from Millstadt, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armin A. Bruehl; her parents, George J. & Rose, nee Reifschneider, and her sister Rose Olstead
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., with Pastor Matt Friz, officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, Ill.
