George O Reece's Obituary
George O. Reece, 82, of Millstadt, Ill., born February 1, 1933 in Monroe County, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Reece was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill., and the St. Clair County Farm Bureau. He was a farmer and later retired from the Golden Dipt in Millstadt, Ill. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, Ill.
He is survived by her by his wife of 60 years, Lucille Reece, his children, Cheryl (Emerson) Stacks, James (Cassy) Reece & Lori (Jerry) Klotz, his grandchildren, Michael Sodam, Sheri Hankley, Susie Sodam, Reno Smith, Juilia Smith, Bill Reece, Melissa Reece, Joe Reece, Jena Weissenborn, Jodi Hurst, Jordan Gass, & Brandi Mayer, his great grandchildren, Braden and Parker Hankley and Jase and Luella Mayer, his brother, Bob (Doris) Reece, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob (Carol) Stoll. He is also survived by other relatives & friends.
Memorial contributions may be made Wounded Warriors & Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., with Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating.
Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
