George was preceded in death by his parents: George Hillyer & Edith, nee Cochran, Jenkins Sr. and his aunt: Beulah Cochran. George is survived by his wife: Carolyn Jenkins, nee Miller, his father-in-law & mother-in-law: Lester (Dorothy) Miller of Millstadt, IL., his sisters-in-law: Joyce (Charles) Ehr of Dallas, TX., Marsha (Robert) Hoffmeister of Woodland, TX., and Vicki (Bruce) Ellis of Charlotte, NC., his brother-in-law: Douglas (Sherry) Miller of Elon, NC., he is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. George retired as a manager for Nabisco after 45 years. He was a member of the National Guard and he enjoyed fishing. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
