Frieda Mae Buxton's Obituary
Frieda M. Buxton, nee Goodson, 90 of Dupo, Ill., born January 17, 1926 in Rubble, MO, passed away on Thursday June 9, 2016 at the Columbia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Frieda was a devoted wife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Buxton, sons, Ronald Buxton in infancy and Roger Buxton, her daughter, Beverly O’Connor, and her parents, Orville and Dochia (nee Potter) Goodson.
She is survived by her son, Darrell (Katherine) Buxton, she is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association
Visitation: Visitation will be on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:45 a.m. with Reverend James Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
