Freda Mae Jones' Obituary
Freda Mae Jones, nee Hill, 89, of Millstadt, Ill., born March 3, 1926 in Beaver Dam, KY., passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Ill.
Mrs. Jones was retired from Bridal Originals Dress Factory in Belleville, Ill. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill., VFW ladies auxiliary 7980 in Millstadt, Ill., and the ILGWU Union Local.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Jones, her parents, Aisie & Mabel, nee Tatum, Hill, her son-in-law, Garland Parrish, her sisters, Juanita Spradling and Margaret Buchanan, a twin sister in infancy, 2 grandchildren in infancy and a great grandchild in infancy.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Parrish, her son, Wayne (Judy) Jones, her grandchildren, Pamela Sue Crawford, Tracy (Rick) Holmes and Travis (Jackie) Jones, her great grandchildren, Gabby Holmes, Max Holmes, Carter Jones and Colby Jones, her sister, Edna (John) Gebhard, she is also survived by other relatives & friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill., or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Visitation: visitation will be on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., with Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating.
Entombment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Belleville, Ill.
