Fred J. Madden Sr.'s Obituary
Fred J. Madden Sr., 89 years of Prairie Du Rocher, IL, passed away on May 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1932, in Clinton, KY.
Fred retired from Foster Forbes in Pevely, MO. He enjoyed fishing for crappie, bluegill and catfish & hunting for rabbit, deer and squirrel as well as enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are his sons, Fred J. (Becky) Madden, Jr. & Michael Madden, his grandchildren, Kristen (Dan) Goeddel & Jaclyn (Kevin) Meehan, his great-grandchildren, Jolee, Quinn & Jordan Goeddel, Jackson & Myla Miller, Shane & Kellin Meehan, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joan M. Madden, who he married on May 3, 1958 and who passed away December 11, 2012, his son, Darrell D. Madden, his parents,Willard & Grace Madden, nee Burgess, his brothers, Elmo Madden & Leon Madden and his sister, Hazel Burgess.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home, Red Bud, IL.
Services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:00 am at Leesman Funeral Home, with Pastor Cory Hartz, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Evansville, IL.
