Frank Melvin Shanks' Obituary
Frank Melvin Shanks, 67 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on October 18, 2025 at Bria of Columbia. He was born September 27, 1958, in St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Alice Beyer, nee Loyd, his sister, Debbie Perez, his nephew, Matt Perez, his aunt, Christine Aydelott, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Beyer; along with aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Josh Boyer, officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Millstadt, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to American Cancer Society #5 Schiber Ct., Maryville, IL 62062.
