Frank "Dwayne" Adkins' Obituary
Frank “Dwayne” Adkins, 84, of Dupo, Ill., born December 31, 1930 in Dupo, Ill, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at his residence.
Dwayne was a retired engineer from the Alton & Southern Railroad. He also had served as General Chairman for the Alton & Southern Railroad.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Adkins, his parents, Frank and Dorothy, nee Kessel, Adkins and his brother, Dale Adkins.
Dwayne is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lori Adkins, nee Miller, his son, Doug (Barb) Adkins, his daughter, Jody (Tim) Eilers, his step-children, Marilyn (Buddy) Hollis, Kami (Darrell) Welch, Eric (Stephanie) Young and his special step-daughter, Shari (Eric) Hofstetter, his grandchildren, Chris, Candi, Shellie, Kimberly, Melanie, Kelci, Kylie, Jacqueline, Noah and Brooklyn, 5 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Private family visitation and funeral services will be held at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
