Francis Leroy Snider Jr., 83 yrs., of Sun City, CA, formerly of Columbia, IL passed away in Sun City, Ca. He was born in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Francis and Lena (Carr) Snider. Mr. Snider was the former Director of Public Works for the City of Columbia, IL He was a member of American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL. He had served in the U. S. Air Force, and was a veteran of World War II. He was married to Mary Lou (Elmore) Snider, who survives him.They were married on July 14, 1950.
