Forrest Dean Keim, 84 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. He was born in Henry County, IL, the son of the late Forrest E. and Helen (LaRue) Keim. He was married to Marian (Menner) Keim, who survives him. They were married on May 14, 1955, in Columbia, IL.Dean was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree - Fr. Charles Hellrung Assembly 1529, Waterloo, IL, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree - George R. Kutterer Council 6165, Columbia, IL, American Legion Post 581, Columbia, IL, and Teamsters Local #600, St. Louis, MO. He had served in the U.S. Army, 105th Transportation Port Company, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He had retired from Yellow Freight Systems, as a truck driver. Dean had over 50 years experience commercial truck driving. After retirement, he spent much of his time Volunteering at Immaculate Conception Catholic School.
