Floyd Weaver Jr.'s Obituary
Floyd Weaver Jr., 72 years of East Carondelet, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at John Cochran VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. He was born April 18, 1948, in St. Louis, MO.
Floyd was a retired security guard for the government. He also worked as a carpenter and made pool tables for A.E. Schmidt Company. He was a member of the VFW post in St. Charles, MO., and the 4/12th Calvary group. He was an Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mary Weaver, nee Dobbs, his two daughters, Sherry Weaver and Tammy Weaver; his two granddaughters, Victoria Weaver and Jackie Donaldson; his great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Weaver; his two brothers, Tommie Weaver and Ronald Weaver; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Sr., and Joy, nee Craig,Weaver, and his two brothers, Robert Weaver and Stevie Weaver;
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. Masks are required and only 10 people will be permitted in the building at one time. Current social distancing guidelines are to be followed. Following the visitation, Floyd will be cremated and private interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
