Florence Frances Farmer's Obituary
Florence Frances Farmer, 76, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL., due to complications from lung cancer. She was born in Dupo, IL, the daughter of the late Omer and Viola (Bock) Weisenborn. She was retired from Southerwestern Bell Telephone Co., St. Louis, MO. and had been a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, Illinois, member of the Hand Bell Choir, and the Quilters at church, Columbia Senior Citizens, Monday Senior Citizen Bowling League, the Monroe County Red Hat Society, and a volunteer at the Columbia Convalescent Center, and the American Red Cross. She was married to the late Calvin Eugene Farmer. They were married on March 6, 1954, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL. He passed away January 28, 1990.
