Felicidad Baez's Obituary
Felicidad Baez, 77 of Cahokia, IL, passed away on August 27, 2023 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Town and County, MO. She was born on April 6, 1946, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
Felicidad (nickname Mickey) was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbia, IL where she was a member of the quilters group. She had been employed in the Trust Dept. for over 25 years at US Bank in downtown St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are her siblings, brother, Fernando (Lucy) Baez of Carolina, PR, sister, Maria Baez of St. Louis, MO, daughters, Sue (Mike) Dickey of Kansas City, MO, Sandy (John) Marion of Columbia, IL, grandchildren, Allen Paul (Denise) Acup of Fenton, MO, Alisa Dietiker of Kansas City, MO, John-John and Josh Marion of Columbia, IL, great grandchildren, Sunny Angel, Gwen, Cody and Zoey; along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Modesto and Felicidad Baez; brothers, Modesto, Angel Luis, Eduardo, and Marcos; sisters, Carmen and Luz Elena.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Columbia, IL. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church, with Pastor Jonathan Peters officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriner’s Hospitals, or Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation.
