Faye Lois Schwartzkopf, 70 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on December 14, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. She was born January 23, 1953, in Red Bud, IL.
Faye was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, IL. During her spare time she loved to go horse back riding, quilting, crocheting, canning, gardening, baking, and being a mother to all and feeding anyone who came over to the house.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Schwartzkopf of Red Bud, IL, her two children, Ben (Jill) Schwartzkopf and Lanie (Andy) Pensoneau, her seven grandchildren, Brittney Pensoneau, Taylor Pensoneau, Madison Pensoneau, Sage Pensoneau, Jackson Pensoneau, Lucas Schwartzkopf, and Eve Schwartzkopf, her brother, Ronald (Barb) Moeller, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends..
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin E. Moeller, her mother, Genevieve Catherine (Deterding) Moeller, her parent - in - laws, Cecil (Evelyn) Schwartzkopf, and her sister in law, Kathy Markley.
Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2023, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL, and Saturday, December 30, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, IL with Pastor Nebel officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. John Lutheran Church 508 Bloom St., Red Bud, IL 62278.
