Evelyn L Gregg's Obituary
Evelyn Gregg, 82, of Waterloo, Ill., born November 15, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, IN., passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Columbia Nursing & Rehab Center in Columbia, Ill.
Mrs. Gregg was a member of Frist Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill., AT&T Pioneers, and Tops in Waterloo, Ill. She retired as a communications attendant for AT&T.
Mrs. Gregg was preceded in death by her parents, Malin & Esther, nee Hartmann, Head, her brothers, Howard and James Head, and sister, Ida Mae Brooks
Mrs. Gregg is survived by her husband, John W. Gregg, her sons, John D. Gregg (Andrea Giles), Patrick H. Gregg, sisters, Carol (Paul) Williams, Wanda Pierce, grandchildren, Matthew (Sharon) Gregg, Laura Gregg, Ian Gregg and Cassidy Gregg, great-grandson Connor Gregg, her special friend Virginia Heckwoof. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
At Mrs. Gregg’s request, she will be cremated following the visitation.
Inurnment will be in Immanuel Church of Christ Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IN.
