Evelyn B. Blank, 89 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was born in Columbia, IL, the daughter of the late Fred and Marie, nee Stemler, Harres. Evelyn was retired from Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL, as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, where she had been a long time member in the church orchestra and choir, Columbia Women's Club, The Retired Nurses of Monroe County, Columbia Sister Cities, Columbia Senior Citizens, Red Hat Society, Order of the Eastern Star, and American Legion Post #581 Auxiliary, Columbia, IL. She was married to the late Elmer E. Blank. They were married on December 29, 1951, in Columbia, IL. He had passed away February 4, 1991.
