Eula Jean Bersche, 77 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Garden Place of Columbia, Columbia, IL. She was born in Modoc, IL, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Barbeau) Bersche.Eula had graduated from Oak Glade School in Modoc, then Red Bud Community High School. She had worked in the office for different truck lines in St. Louis, MO, before moving to Columbia in 1989. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, where she was active with the quilters and the Altar Sodality. She had also quilted with the St. Paul U.C. of C, in Columbia. Her past-time passions were bowling, bingo, and pinochle. Always one to help any and everyone, she had made many wonderful friends.
