Eugene L. Beiermann, 96 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at the St. Agnes Home, Kirkwood, MO. He was born in Jersey County, IL, the son of the late Joseph and Mary, nee Prill, Beiermann. Gene had served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of WWII, a member of American Legion Post 581, Columbia, IL, Knights of Columbus - 4th Degree - Council 6165, and lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. He had worked with Weilbachers', Inc., Columbia, IL, for over 40 years. He was married to the late Gertrude, nee Goetten, Beiermann. They were married on August 5, 1944, in Jerseyville, IL. She passed away March 14, 2007.
