Ethel Lydia Schuhardt's Obituary
Ethel Lydia Schuhardt, nee Weis, 87 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. She was born July 7, 1935, in Millstadt, IL.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL. Ethel was a loving wife and a devoted mother to her children. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to be in the warm sunshine in the winter. Ethel enjoyed the company of her cat "Baby Girl", she was known for her thin Oreo cookies and Ethel enjoyed her Sunday family dinners followed by a game of cards.
Surviving are her son, Barry (Karen) Schuhardt, her daughter, Jolene (Dennis) Feazel, her grandchildren, Lance (Ashley) Feazel, Scott (Alyssa) Feazel, Corey (Ciera Bias) Schuhardt & Christen (Drew) Bendick, her great grandchildren, Liam, Jessa, Bellamy, Bence, Carter, Emma and a great grandchild on the way, her sister-in-law, Myrtle Weis, she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Freddie M. Schuhardt, her parents, George & Lucille, nee Knepper, Weis, and her brother, Robert Weis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL., with Pastor Peter Ill and Pastor Todd Wilken, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
