Ethel E. "Granny" Morris' Obituary
Ethel E. “Granny” Morris, nee, Noles, 92, of Pittsburg, Ill., formerly of East Carondelet, Ill., born April 3, 1924 in Union Grove, Alabama, died Monday, November 14, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Granny was a home maker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Carondelet, Ill., and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Granny was preceded in death by her husband, V. Henry Morris, her son, C. Wayne Morris, her parents, John William “Austin” and Frances Lucinda, nee Artis, Noles, her brother, John William Noles, her sister, Tempie Noles and her sister in infancy, Everlin Noles.
Granny is survived by two sons, William H. Morris and Ronald V. (Charlotte) Morris, her two daughters, G. A. Morris and Brenda J. Allen, her sister-in-law, Katie Noles, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her good friend and caregiver, Deanna Clafin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to any cancer association of the donor’s choice.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home with Rev. Don Mitchell, officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
