OBITUARY
Ethel Buehler
Ethel T., nee LaChance Buehler, 95 years old of Red Bud, IL, passed away on April 25, 2019 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, IL. She was born October 15, 1923, in Prairie du Rocher, IL.
Ethel married Cletus Buehler on October 25, 1949. They shared 69 years of marriage. Ethel was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the St. Anne Altar Sodality, as well as an avid quilter.
Surviving are her husband, Cletus Buehler; her two daughters, Cleta (Roger) Waldron, Sharon (Richard) Langrehr; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank LaChance and her mother, Mary, nee Weber, LaChance; her son, Cyril Buehler, her grandson, Monte Waldron; her granddaughter, Lisa Domer; and her great grandson, Dagan Domer
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, IL. Funeral Mass will be held at the church beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the St. John Catholic Cemetery, Red Bud, Illinois.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the quilting group at the church, or Hospice of Southern IL .
