Esther Gummersheimer was born in Sugar Loaf Twp, IL, daughter of the late John A. Reichert and the late Henrietta (Diehl) Reichert. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, Columbia Gymnastic Assoc. Auxiliary, Baltz Cemetery Assoc., Columbia Senior Citizens, and the Monroe County Farm Bureau. She was the wife of the late Elmer Gummersheimer.
