Esther H. Giffhorn, 87, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at Columbia Convalescent Center, Columbia, Illinois. She was born in Burksville, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Mamie (Schmidt) Koch. She had worked at Weilbacher's Department Store, Columbia, Illinois, and had been a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, Illinois, where she had been active in the Jr. Women's League and had been a Sunday School Teacher.
