Ervin Rensing's Obituary
Ervin Rensing, 87 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on August 4, 2023 at Memorial Hospital of Belleville, Belleville, IL. He was born September 28, 1935, in Red Bud, IL.
He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Drum and Bugle Corp, Red Bud JC's, Red Bud Fire Department for 25 years, also was the co-caretaker of the Waterloo Sportmans Club. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, going camping, but most of all enjoyed the time he got to spend with his family when he retired.
He is survived by his Daughter, Lorrie Ann Koester of Red Bud, IL, his son, Bruce Rensing, his six grandchildren, Kyle (Emily Sensel) Koester, Abbi Rensing, Landon (Bethany Burris) Rensing, Dalton (Jenny Beil) Rensing, Gavin Rensing, and Payton (Damion Carroll) Rensing, his six great-grandchildren, Braxtyn Rensing, Bently Schweizer, Connor Rensing, Jextyn Rensing, Macy Rensing, and, Carter Rensing, his two brother, Rich Rensing, and Leroy (Sharon) Rensing, his sister, Mary Ann Gain, sister-in-law, Carol Milligan, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Rensing, his mother, Matilda (Schmidt) Rensing, his wife, Mary A. Rensing; and his son-in-law, Terry Koester;
Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2023, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home - Red Bud, IL.
